The team

You book a person, not a salon.

Six stylists, from assistant designer to salon director. Prices step up with experience and every rate is published — so you choose, rather than finding out at the till.

  • Jeanette Larsen

    Salon Director

Jeanette opened Jiggs in 2005, after fifteen years learning her craft in city salons. She still takes clients six days a week — and still does the consultation herself when someone is nervous about a big change.

  • Rosie Murray

    Senior Designer

One of the two stylists clients name most often in their reviews. Rosie is who you ask for when you want a cut that still sits right six weeks later.

  • Lina McDermott

    Artistic Designer

Lina leads on colour — balayage, babylights, and the slow, patient corrections that take a full afternoon and a lot of foils.

  • Amber Wiggett

    Assistant Designer

  • Evie

    Assistant Designer

  • Poppy

    Head Spa Therapist

How the pricing ladder works

A cut is a cut, but the person doing it is not. Our assistant designers, Amber and Evie, are the least expensive; Lina and Rosie sit in the middle; Jeanette, who has been cutting hair for more than thirty years and has owned this salon for 21 of them, is the most.

Nobody is going to steer you up the ladder. Plenty of clients have been with the same assistant designer for years and see no reason to change, and that is exactly as it should be.

Every range on the price list is that ladder, in public. Pick your stylist when you book online and the price you see is the price you pay.
